Vem är den här Lalon?
Lalon, född i Bangladesh på 1700-talet, är ett andligt Baul-helgon, en modern social reformator och filosof över det förenade Bengalen och Indien. Han är humanismens praktiska paradigm. Han tog bort skillnader inom religion, kast, ras och gav människan den högsta platsen. Hans sånger manifesterar en sådan tankevärld. Vi har lyft fram Lalons sinne i denna monolog.

কে এই লালন?
এই লালন হচ্ছেন অষ্টাদশ শতকে বাংলাদেশে জন্মগ্রহণকারী নিখিল বঙ্গ এবং ভারতবর্ষের একজন আধ্যাতিক বাউল সাধক, আধুনিক সমাজসংস্কারক, দার্শনিক; মানবতাবাদের প্রায়োগিক দৃষ্টান্ত; যিনি ধর্ম বর্ণ গোত্রসহ সকল প্রকার বিভেদ থেকে সরে এসে মানুষকে সর্বোচ্চ স্থান দিয়েছিলেন| তাঁর রচিত গানগুলো এরকম ভাবনাজগতের প্রকাশ| আনিসুর রহমান মনোলগে লালনের মনোজগত তুলে ধরেছেন|
নির্দেশকের কথা
'লালন' নামটাই আমাদের অন্য এক পৃথিবী ভাবতে শেখায়, যেখানে মানুষ ও মানবতার ওপর আর কিছু নাই। মানুষ হিসেবে প্রকৃত মানুষের সন্ধান করতে পারাটাই প্রশান্তির ,নাট্যকর্মী হিসেবে নাটক দিয়ে লালন প্রদর্শন যেমন সম্মানের একই সাথে দর্পের এবং কঠিন। এই কঠিন মোকাবেলায় সবসময় আমাকে পাশে রেখেছেন আমার অত্যন্ত শুভাকাঙ্খী শ্রদ্ধাভাজন বঙ্গকবি দিলদার হোসেন নাট্যরুপ ও নির্মাণে শতভাগ পাশে পেয়েছি আমার ভীষণ প্রিয় নাট্যজন নাগরিক নাট্যাঙ্গনের বন্ধুদ্বয় জুয়েল জহুর ও কামরুজ্জামান রনিকে। বিশেষ কৃতজ্ঞতা ও ধন্যবাদ আনিসুর রহমানকে, যিনি গবেষণার মাধ্যমে সাহিত্য রসে লালনকে সহজ করে প্রকাশ করেছেন, যে কারণে আজকের দিনে এই পরহিতব্রতী মানব লালনকে নিয়ে আমাদের নিবেদন।

বাঙালি-সুইডিশ কবি আনিসুর রহমান, জন্ম টাঙ্গাইলের মধুপুরে, লেখালেখির ভিত্তি বাংলাদেশ এবং স্ক্যান্ডিনেভিয়া ঘিরে। তিনি সুইডিশ লেখক সঙ্ঘের পরিচালনা পরিষদের সদস্য। গদ্য পদ্য উপন্যাস নাটক ছোটগল্প এবং ছোটদের জন্যে সাহিত্যকর্ম তার বিস্তৃত লেখালেখির অংশ। তার লেখা নাটক প্রযোজিত এবং অন্তর্ভুক্ত হয়েছে নরওয়েজিয়ান বেতার থিয়েটারে, সুইডিশ বেতার থিয়েটারে, আফ্রিকা, এশিয়া, ইউরোপ মহাদেশের নানা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে এবং নাট্যশালায়। ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে এবং স্টকহোম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে পড়াশোনা করা আনিসুর কাজ করেন উপসালা সাহিত্যকেন্দ্রে, যেখানে তিনি সৃজনশীল লেখালেখি কর্মসূচি পরিচালনা করেন।

Who is this Lalon?
Lalon, born in Bangladesh in the 18th century, is a spiritual Baul saint, modern social reformer and philosopher of united Bengal and India. He is practical paradigms of humanism. He removed all kinds of differences in terms of religion, caste, race and gave people the highest place. The songs written by him are the manifestation of such a world of thought. Anisur Rahman has highlighted Lalon’s mind in this monologue. #
Words from the director
The name 'Lalan' itself teaches us to think of another world, where there is nothing more about people and humanity. Being able to find the real person as a human being is a matter of serenity. It is a respect for me as a theatre professional at the same time it is a difficult and challenging task to present Lalon on theatre stage.
My very well-wisher and respected Bangkabi Dildar Hossain has always supported me on this difficult journey. I got full support for this production from theatre colleagues and friends.
Special gratitude and thanks to Anisur Rahman, who presented Lalon in his manuscript as simple piece of creative literary piece after a research. All this has led me to present this production to commemorate Lalon and humanity.
