The Scandinavian Study Centre and Teachers Students’ Centre (TSC) at Dhaka University together with the Literary Centre in Uppsala is presenting the 2nd Bengali Nordic Literary Festival 2024 to be held at 3:00 pm till 8pm on Sunday the 11th of February 2024.

Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University, Professor ASM Maksud Kamal will inaugurate the festival. Among others Arts Faculty dean Professor Abdul Bashir will grace the inauguration as a special guest. Scandinavian Study Centre director, Professor Sikder Monoare Murshed (Saurav Sikder) will chair the inaugural session.
The festival will include writing workshop, literary discussion, reading and musical performance. Students, writers and artists of diverse languages and ethnicities from differents parts of Bangladesh, Scandinavia, Europe and Americas will take part in the festival.
Participating guests, writers and artists include Shamim Azad (UK), Moshtak Sharif, Mathura Tripura, Saidur Rahman Lipon, Razu Alauddin, Sujan Barua, Nilima Shil, Signe Meyer (Dennmark), , Katrin Solstein (Denmark), Salwa Jahan Nabila, Anisur Rahman (Sweden/Bangladesh), Tapankar Chakroborty, Utpalkanti Barua, Aslam Sani, Sohrab Hassan, Malek Mahmud, Shibu Kanti Das, Amit Kumar Kundu, Ahsan Malek, Ramjan Mahmud, Delwar Bin Rashid, Kamal Hossain, Nurunnahar Dolly, Tahmina Quraishy, Baitullah Kaderi, Saifullah Mahmud Dulal, Shihab Shahriar, Aadwito Marut, Ashique Mustafa, Shamim Reza, Junan Nashi, Megh Aditi, Sabera Tabassum, Snigdha Baul, Farhana Rahmam, Shahid Azad and others.
Music Department at the university will present music and poet Sakira Parvin will host the program copperated by the Dhaka Universty Cultural and and the Literature Society.
